When a people are not united, they are easily destroyed ... divided and conquered.

 

The above truism is attributed to Aesop in The Four Oxen and the Lion and The Bundle of Sticks; it was also used by Patrick Henry in his last public speech in 1799.  "....  United we stand, divided we fall.  Let us not split into factions which must destroy that union upon which our existence hangs."

was proclaimed in April 2008 to build greater unity and strength

within the home education movement!

This day grew out of the 2008 attack on homeschooling in California.

Celebrations and Special Days provide a link between our past and our present building a
